So I'm interested in participating in the code development community. Where do I get plugged in? I can't find information on the site for doing an svn checkout, or where the bug tracker is, or anything of that nature. Am I overlooking it?

Hi Nik,
Let me tell you I am all for simplicity and keeping the features limited to what you need. In order to achieve that we're trying to make the code very modular. So that features are added or taken away in a plugin sort of fashion. Of course this will only be possible if we have a good framework to start with, and the framework is kind of where we're at right now.

Your suggestions are always welcome, and if you would like to help with development, we would definitely appreciate the help. I can try to get you a framework only copy of the code if you think it is something you want try out.

Hello there,

i have been testing the work and i have learned there are plenty of good ideas inside which are not featured on the cover. Registering as a Jobseeker ended up as a mix with "admin.login". But nevertheless this project is on a good way. I am interested to have one edition to start a new jobsite from the basics.

i have already realized one quite bigsized jobseeker + employer website "freelancer.de" - But as always this first project ended up to voluminous with too many features which actually are not needed. Also there is danger of bugs as the project grows too big.

Depending on what part of the eRecruitment you aim at (...new trends like "multigenerational recruit" coming up heavy) and if this project shall be made as commercial version? There are tough rules in the market made by the professional Players... . e.g. Today an employer really does not look up his Jobmanager once again ... he has no time. He would prefer if the jobportal sends out a "crawler" to pick the newest jobs and post them autom... also the matchings should be send out to customers.... I would like to give more suggestions if i know which targetgroup you are aiming at.

I am really intersted to help making the place be ready for commercial recruitment

best regards from Germany
Nik

Are you interested to talk about this any further?

tracking system feature could be like: 'read resume'. 'interviewed' and 'hired'...

the job seekers could see how many times his/her resume has been read by employer.

I suggest also a feature of e-mail job alert/remainder for job seekers for the new posting job related to pre-defined interest.

Eager in waiting version 1.0 :)

Version 1.0 will have a small version of an application tracking system. As in it will remember what jobs you've applied to, however as of this moment, I don't believe it will track the status of your application to any detailed level.

Can you let me know a bit about what you'd like to see in application tracking system. Are you hoping for things like, "pending", "read", "replied", "interviewed", "hired", etc.? All controlled from the employer login?

We will of course begin a feature request list, after launch so that things like this can get prioritized.
