OsJobber Contributors Share in the Revenue!

July 12, 2008 – 12:00 pm

I would hate to say it has never happened before, because the internet is just too large of a place to know.  What I can say is that I’ve never seen it before, and that (maybe) this is a first for an open source project.  Contributors to OsJobber can now share in the ad revenue generated.  Once you’ve made a contribution, you can register, and in your account you will be able to submit your Google Adsense publisher id.  You will then have your share of 50% of all the Google Ads shown on this site.

I’m sure someone else has done it.  We’ve just never heard of it for an open source project.

First Milestone Reached!

July 9, 2008 – 8:32 pm

We just reached 1000 downloads today!  Hey we know that 1000 downloads isn’t a big number in internet terms, but its a start.  More updates are just around the corner.  Make sure to ask for support if you need it, we are here to help get your job board up and running.

Demo Update Tonight - New Job Board Features

July 9, 2008 – 9:27 am

Added resume functionality tonight, along with user activation, categories, a more css friendly default template, and a few other things.   They aren’t fully integrated into the demo yet, nor are they included in the download version, but you should be able to see the new features when logged in as a “super admin”.  Which, from there you can edit other user permissions to allow them to see or interact.

Should be in the download version very soon.
